Data collection

You can use this app without disclosing your personal data. There is no personal evaluation of the information.

Processing of personal data

We use terms such as „personal data“ or their „processing“ in accordance with the definitions in Article 4 DSGVO. Personal data is information that can be used to discover your identity. This includes information such as your name, email address, potentially the device ID and the IP address of the mobile device you are using. It does not include information that is not associated with your identity (such as the number of users of the app).

Push notifications

The app sends push notifications when certain events selected by the user occur. The messages are sent on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a of the DSGVO only if the user has consented to this. The user can deactivate the push notifications at any time in the device settings or in the settings in the app. In the case of using push notification, a device token from Apple, Google or Microsoft is assigned. These are encrypted, anonymised device IDs. The purpose of the use is solely the provision of the push notification. It is not possible for the app providers to draw any conclusions about the individual user.

IP addresses

During internet communication, the IP address and time are transmitted. The data is transmitted via an encrypted connection using HTTPS to the servers of the IT computer centre: Willy-Brandt-Weg 37A, 48155 Münster. The collected data is logged and deleted at regular intervals of maximum 1 month. All usage data is deleted from the mobile device when the app is uninstalled.

You have the right at any time, informally and without justification, to obtain information about the data stored about you. This also applies to their origin and recipients as well as the purpose of the storage. You can obtain this information free of charge (Article 15 DSGVO).

In the event of the assumption of unlawful data processing, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for us, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, at any time. If you have given us your consent, you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future. (Article 7 DSGVO).

3. Right of objection

Insofar as we process your personal data not on the basis of consent but on the basis of a legal fact such as Article 6 sentence 1 letter e DSGVO, you may object to the future processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation at any time (Article 21 DSGVO).

4. Delete data

The data stored by us will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and the deletion is not contrary to any statutory retention obligations. If the user data is not deleted because it is required for other and legally permissible purposes, its processing is restricted. This means that the data is blocked and not processed for other purposes.
